Smartec Netherlands Thermopile Infrared Sensor
The SMTIR99XX series is a silicon-based infrared sensor based on thermopiles. Infrared sensors can be used for non-contact temperature measurement. Since infrared radiation characteristics are related to temperature, filters can be used to measure different temperature ranges. Mature semiconductor processes can reduce costs while enabling device miniaturization. To meet certain applications, the field of view of the infrared sensor can be designed to be less than 7°.
