Italian Nesa Soil Moisture (Humidity) Sensor
A soil moisture sensor is a device that detects the dielectric constant of soil through high-frequency measurement (70 MHz). The magnitude of this value depends on the water content of the soil and is insensitive to water mineralization. Water in the soil acts as a conductor, and based on its concentration, a relative humidity indication of the soil can be obtained. The sensor automatically performs temperature compensation and outputs a standard 4-20 mA, 0-2 Vdc signal, or a digital RS485/Modbus signal using the MCS module.
