German AMT Water Quality Sensor Ozone Sensor
The German AMT ozone sensor is based on the electrochemical amperometric principle and can rapidly analyze dissolved ozone (O3) in water on site. It is suitable for natural surface water, industrial waters, and oceans. O3 diffuses into the sensor through a gas-permeable membrane, first undergoing a chemical reaction with the electrolyte solution to form an electrochemically active compound, which then moves to the working electrode via diffusion. At the working electrode, this active compound is oxidized, generating a current signal corresponding to the partial pressure of dissolved O3 for quantitative analysis.
