COD sensors transform water quality monitoring from 'spot checks' to 'full inspections'.
Analyze parameters such as COD, turbidity, and temperature in water bodies based on ultraviolet absorption method. Organic pollutants primarily absorb in the ultraviolet and visible bands. By scanning and analyzing the absorption spectrum in the 254nm ultraviolet-visible band, combined with chemical modeling algorithms, various pollutants can be qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed, making it particularly suitable for determining changes in water quality composition or concentration. The sensor consists of a light source, spectral analysis, and measurement optical path. The light emitted by the source is split into two beams. One beam is the measurement light, which undergoes spectral analysis after being absorbed by the water sample to be tested; the other beam is the reference light, which undergoes spectral analysis directly without passing through the water sample. The spectral characteristics of both beams are measured separately.
