Data Center Computer Room Freon (Refrigerant) Gas Alarm
# Data Center Computer Room Freon (Refrigerant) Gas Alarm > > Main scenarios in data centers: **chiller plant rooms, precision air conditioning rooms**, refrigerants are mostly **R134a, R410A**, which are heavier than air and sink when leaked, posing mainly a risk of **suffocation and oxygen deficiency**, not poisoning; regulations require that upon leakage alarm, **emergency exhaust fans** automatically start, with signals connected to the BAS / environmental monitoring system.
