Propane gas sensor (C3H8 gas sensor)
The MP-5 planar semiconductor gas sensor for combustible gas detection uses advanced planar production technology, forming a heater and metal oxide semiconductor gas-sensitive material on a miniature Al2O3 ceramic substrate, with electrode leads drawn out and encapsulated in a metal base and cap. When the gas to be detected is present, the higher the concentration of that gas in the air, the higher the conductivity of the sensor. A simple circuit can convert this change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
