UK SKYE UVB sensor
The SKU 430 UVB sensor is used to measure the 280~315nm range in the ultraviolet band. The shorter wavelength portion of UVA is absorbed by transparent glass. Most of the medium-wave ultraviolet radiation in sunlight is absorbed by the ozone layer, with less than 2% reaching the Earth's surface, and it is particularly intense in summer and in the afternoon.
