Alcohol Sensor (C2H5OH Sensor)
The ME2-C2H5OH-Ф16 sensor is a galvanic cell type electrochemical sensor. C2H5OH and O2 undergo corresponding oxidation-reduction reactions on the working electrode and counter electrode, releasing charge to form a current. The magnitude of the generated current is proportional to the concentration of C2H5OH and follows Faraday's law. By measuring the magnitude of the current, the concentration level of C2H5OH can be determined.
