UV absorption method COD sensor
COD Water Quality Sensor Based on ultraviolet absorption method to analyze parameters such as COD, turbidity, and temperature in water bodies. Organic pollutants primarily absorb in the ultraviolet and visible bands. By scanning and analyzing the absorption spectrum in the 254nm UV-visible band, combined with chemical modeling algorithms, various pollutants can be qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed, making it especially suitable for determining changes in water composition or concentration. The sensor consists of a light source, spectral analysis, and measurement optical path. The light emitted by the source is split into two beams. One beam is the measurement light, which undergoes spectral analysis after being absorbed by the water sample to be tested; the other beam is the reference light, which undergoes spectral analysis directly without passing through the water sample.
