Swiss Sensirion Digital Temperature Sensor
The STS21 temperature sensor is based on the same chip design as the SHT2x temperature and humidity sensor, offering superior performance and the same compact size of only 3x3mm. The temperature sensor has a different I2C address from the SHT2x and is pin-to-pin compatible. Therefore, the STS21 is suitable for applications where temperature is a mandatory parameter and humidity is optional. Since the hardware is identical, users do not need to modify their hardware design.
