Dutch Smartec Infrared Temperature Sensor
The SMTIR99XX series infrared temperature sensors are silicon-based infrared sensors based on thermopiles. Infrared sensors can be used for non-contact temperature measurement because infrared radiation characteristics are related to temperature, and filters can be used to measure different temperature ranges. Mature semiconductor processes can reduce costs while miniaturizing the devices. To meet certain applications, the field of view of the infrared sensor can be designed to be less than 7°.
