Chlorine gas sensor (CL2 sensor)
The ME4-Cl2 sensor is a potentiostatic electrolytic CL2 sensor. CL2 and O2 undergo corresponding reduction and oxidation reactions at the working electrode and counter electrode, releasing corresponding charges to form a current. The magnitude of the current is proportional to the gas concentration and follows Faraday's law. By measuring the magnitude of the current, the concentration of CL2 can be determined.
