Freon Gas Alarm (Refrigerant Leak Alarm)
Freon Gas Alarm (Refrigerant Leak Detector) Freon (refrigerants R22/R134a/R410A/R404A, etc.) alarms are used to detect refrigerant leaks in refrigeration systems. Most Freon gases are heavier than air and tend to sink and accumulate after leakage. High concentrations can cause suffocation and cardiac stimulation, and decompose into toxic fumes at high temperatures. They are mostly non-flammable themselves, but excessive concentrations in enclosed spaces can displace oxygen and cause asphyxiation. They are divided into two categories: fixed industrial alarm systems and portable leak detectors.
