Product Introduction
1. Description of German AMT 7-Electrode Conductivity Sensor:
The new 7-electrode conductivity sensor has been developed for interfacing with submersible probe systems, most importantly to avoid malfunctions caused by electric and magnetic effects. Another advantage of this conductivity sensor is its absolute linearity over the entire measuring range.
This sensor can be used for long-term monitoring measurements. However, to avoid precipitation on the electrode surface, regular cleaning and calibration are recommended. A multi-core marine cable is required for power supply and data transmission.
The sensor consists of a pressure tube, a 7-electrode conductivity cell, a cap, an underwater connector, and electronics. The housing material is corrosion-resistant (titanium). A minimum pressure resistance of 600 dbar is guaranteed.
