RHA utilizes a thin-film sensor whose capacitance changes proportionally with the relative humidity of the medium, measuring the relative humidity of air and non-corrosive gases under normal ambient pressure and converting it into a standard voltage signal. This probe is based on the RHT sensor, but its electronics are housed in a cylindrical body, making it particularly suitable for rapid measurements when combined with handheld humidity measuring devices with programmable or scalable inputs. Additionally, a platinum temperature sensor can be installed in the probe for simultaneous measurement of the medium temperature.

The RHA probe can be conveniently connected to the H5800 meter via its flexible cable with a micro connector, forming a lightweight, versatile, and widely applicable handheld relative humidity measuring device.
