The FSM-G-11E is a pre-calibrated module for natural gas alarms, whose precise calibration function comes from Figaro's temperature and humidity control device. The sensor TGS2611-E00 selected in this module is equipped with a filter that can eliminate interfering gases such as alcohol, thus providing higher selectivity to methane gas and faster response.

In the process of manufacturing reliable civil gas alarms, the calibration of the alarm point is crucial, which is a complex and time-consuming process requiring expensive calibration equipment. Using this module eliminates this costly calibration process, making it easier and simpler for users to manufacture civil natural gas alarms. Figaro provides users with a complex gas detector circuit design, including a temperature compensation circuit combined with a built-in thermistor, and a low-power methane gas sensor with individually adjustable load resistance.

The socket connection allows for easier periodic sensor replacement. This input/output socket simplifies the connection between the module and the main board; by simply replacing the module, the main board can be used for detectors for either methane or LP gas. This module is designed to meet the performance requirements of EN50194 and UL1484.
