I. Brief Description of HIH-4010/4020/4021 Series Humidity Sensors

The HIH-4010/4020/4021 series humidity sensors are specifically designed for high-volume original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The near-linear voltage output allows direct input to controllers or other devices. Typical current consumption is only 200 µA.

The HIH-4010/4020/4021 series is well suited for various low-power battery-operated systems.

Excellent sensor interchangeability reduces or eliminates OEM production calibration costs. Individual sensor calibration data is available.

The HIH-4010/4020/4021 series offers instrumentation-grade RH (relative humidity) sensing performance, competitive pricing, and solderable SIP (single in-line package) packaging.

The HIH-4010 is an unpackaged integrated circuit humidity sensor, the HIH-4020 is a packaged integrated circuit humidity sensor, and the HIH-4021 is

a packaged, condensation-resistant integrated circuit humidity sensor. All three products are available in two pin spacing configurations.
These humidity sensors use a laser-trimmed thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with built-in signal processing.

The multilayer structure of the sensing element provides excellent resistance to most adverse environmental factors such as moisture, dust, dirt, oils, and common environmental chemicals.

Available in two pin spacing configurations, with or without calibration data printed on the label.
