The ME4-NO2 sensor is a constant potential electrolytic NO2 sensor. NO2 and O2 undergo corresponding oxidation-reduction reactions on the working electrode and counter electrode, releasing charge to form a current. The magnitude of the generated current is proportional to the concentration of NO2. By measuring the current, the concentration of NO2 can be determined.
