The 250-124 soil moisture sensor reliably monitors moisture levels in various types of soil at different wetness levels. It performs equally well in monitoring soil moisture in fields, lawns, landscapes, and greenhouses. The sensor output signal can be used to directly control irrigation. The sensor reads volumetric moisture percentage and is unaffected by soil texture.
