Light Distance Sensor Proximity Sensing Chip - WH4530A

The WH4530A is a light-to-digital converter that combines an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and high-efficiency infrared LED.

The Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) has a built-in filter to suppress infrared and provides a spectral response close to the human eye. The ALS can operate from darkness to direct sunlight with a selectable detection range of approximately 40dB. Dual-channel output (human eye and clear) enables good light ratio under different lighting conditions.

The Proximity Sensor (PS) has a built-in 940nm filter for ambient light immunity, so the PS can detect reflected infrared light with high accuracy and excellent immunity.

WH4530AFeatures programmable interrupt with threshold-based hysteresis for ALS and PS.
