Product introduction

This single low-noise block converter regulator (LNBR) is suitable for analog and digital satellite receivers. It is a monolithic linear switching voltage regulator specifically designed to provide power and interface signals to two LNB downconverters through a coaxial cable. The WT20-1809 requires few external components, with the boost switch and compensation circuit integrated inside the device. A higher switching frequency is selected to minimize the size of passive filter components, further helping to reduce cost. The high level of component integration ensures extremely low noise and ripple digital. For DiSEqCTM communication, a tone control pin is provided to control the internally generated 22 kHz tone on and off.

A comprehensive set of fault registers is provided, compliant with all common standards, including: overcurrent, thermal shutdown, undervoltage, and power bad.

The device uses a 2-wire bidirectional serial interface, compatible with the I2C™ standard, operating at up to 400 kHz.

A sleep pin can maximize power savings and quickly shut down the device when needed without I2C™ control.

The WT20-1809 is available in a lead-free (Pb) package.
