Pin-type humidity sensor, easy to replace

Digital pin-type humidity sensors enable easy replacement in various applications. This series includes the standard version SHT71 and the high-end version SHT75.

    The SHT71 is a general-purpose pin-type digital temperature and humidity sensor. It is also an easily replaceable relative humidity sensor with high cost performance, suitable for various application fields. Like all other SHTxx series products, the SHT71 is mass-produced, fully calibrated, and provides digital output.

A unique capacitive sensor element is used to measure relative humidity, while temperature is measured with a bandgap sensor. The sensor integrates the sensing element and signal processing circuitry in a tiny space and provides fully calibrated digital output. This makes the SHT7X humidity sensors replaceable without the need for individual calibration. The unique design of the SHT7X ensures good thermal coupling with the surrounding natural environment and minimizes the influence of potential heat sources from the main board. Individual precision calibration, on-chip calibration memory, and a digital two-wire interface enable easy integration of the sensor in various demanding applications while ensuring excellent performance.

The replaceability and low power consumption make the SHT7x humidity sensor series the choice for demanding applications. The SHT7x is provided on FR4 with a pin-type package for optimal performance. The same sensor is also available in SMD packaging (SHT1x).
