The SHTC1 is a digital humidity sensor designed for high-volume consumer electronics applications. It is carefully engineered to overcome traditional limitations in size, power consumption, and cost-performance ratio, meeting the requirements of current and future consumer electronics markets.

The digital temperature and humidity sensor SHTC1 sets new standards in size, power consumption, mass production, and cost. The SHTC1 sensor is one of the smallest sensors in the same industry worldwide, with dimensions of only 2x2x0.8mm. Based on CMOSens patented technology, it integrates the sensor and signal processing circuit on a single silicon chip, especially suitable for mass production to ensure customer benefits. Sensirion's CMOSens® technology provides a complete sensor system on a single chip, including a capacitive humidity sensor, a bandgap temperature sensor, analog and digital signal processing, an A/D converter, calibration data memory, and a digital communication interface supporting I2C fast mode. The ultra-compact 2 × 2 × 0.75 mm³ DFN package allows it to fit in limited spaces.
