Product Introduction
1. Label•Eye Label Sensor Description:
Label•Eye™ is aPhotoelectric Sensorsspecialized sensor for sensing various adhesive labels. Because Label•Eye™ is a signature automatic sensor, rather than traditional 'teach mode' setting, it is simple: position the gap between labels under the sensor and directly press the appropriate Autoset™ button. The sensor does the rest, adjusting itself to the perfect environment.
2. Label•Eye Label Sensor Applications:
Label•Eye™ is a special purpose gap/position sensor optimized for sensing various adhesive labels adhered to a roll of paper backing. The label web is passed over a 'peel plate' and a sharp edge. When the web goes around the sharp edge of the peel plate, the adhesive label separates from the liner material. The function of Label•Eye™ is to detect the 'gap' between labels through the backing paper and signal the labeling machine to stop before the dispensing mechanism completely releases the backing material. With the next 'up' label protruding from the end of the peel plate, it is now fully positioned for the next product as it passes on a conveyor.
Label•Eye™ operates on 10 to 30 VDC, pulse-modulated from ambient light to prevent any issues. Designed for label detection, Label•Eye™ can be used in a wide variety of applications.
