Product Introduction

The T1820X series is a digital-analog mixed-signal temperature sensor chip with high measurement accuracy of ±0.1°C, requiring no user calibration. The temperature sensing principle is based on the characteristic relationship between the PN junction temperature and bandgap voltage of CMOS semiconductors. After small-signal amplification, analog-to-digital conversion, and digital calibration compensation, the digital bus outputs, offering advantages such as high accuracy, good consistency, fast temperature measurement, low power consumption, flexible programmable configuration, and long lifespan.
The chip integrates a 16-bit ADC with a resolution of 0.004°C and has an ultra-wide operating range from -103°C to +153°C. The chip undergoes 100% testing and calibration before leaving the factory, fitting calibration coefficients based on temperature error characteristics, with internal automatic compensation calculation. To simplify system application, the chip's ID search, temperature data memory access, and function configuration are all based on digital single-bus protocol (One Wire, OW) commands. The host microprocessor only needs one GPIO port for read/write access. The single-bus communication interface enables multi-node sensor acquisition and networking through a shared data bus, offering a low-cost solution with long transmission distance and support for many nodes, facilitating spatially distributed sensor networking. It can support up to 100 nodes with 100 to 500 meters of temperature measurement nodes in series.

The chip includes non-volatile E2PROM storage units for saving chip ID, high and low temperature alarm thresholds, temperature calibration correction values, and user-defined information such as sensor node numbers and location information.
