Product Introduction
I. American ECDAmmonia Nitrogen SensorHYDRA NH4+-N Description:
The three-electrode system uses a spray cleaner. Ammonium nitrogen (NH4+-N) is the primary measurement method. Potassium ion and pH glass electrodes are used to compensate for the NH4+ signal. The sensor is waterproof with an ingress rating of IP68.
The ammonia nitrogen analyzer measures the concentration of ammonia nitrogen (NH4+-N) in water. The sensor uses three electrodes to determine NH4+-N concentration: the ammonium ion electrode and the potassium ion electrode.
Electrode and pH electrode. It is designed for a wide variety of waters. Typical applications include monitoring environmental waters, lakes, streams, and wells, as well as wastewater treatment in aeration tanks and wastewater.
The ammonium ion electrode provides the primary measurement method. Any potassium ions in the sample will cause a positive interference because they have the same size and charge as ammonium ions. The potassium ion electrode measures the potassium ion content in the sample, and the HYDRA C22 analyzer subtracts the appropriate amount of signal from the ammonium measurement.
The ammonium ion electrode measures only ammonium ions (NH4+) rather than ammonia (NH3). Ammonium ions and ammonia coexist in solution in a pH-dependent ratio. More acidic pH values favor NH4+, while more basic values favor dissolved ammonia gas, NH3. The pH electrode measures pH, and the HYDRA C22 analyzer calculates the total NH4+-N concentration based on the pH and NH4+ concentration profiles stored in the instrument.
II. Features of the American ECD Ammonia Nitrogen Sensor HYDRA NH4+-N:
Ammonium ISE Electrode
K+, pH, and temperature electrodes
