Product Introduction
I.FOP-MFiber Optic Pressure SensorDescription
The FOP-M is a fiber optic pressure sensor mainly used in applications where high temperatures may occur, such as aviation and defense. In addition, this sensor is also a useful tool for general industrial applications in harsh and hazardous environments.
One of the purposes of designing the FOP-M fiber optic pressure sensor is to enable it to operate in high-temperature environments. Furthermore, the FOP-M fiber optic pressure sensor also has the following advantages: immunity to EMI/RFI, small size, reliable measurements in harsh environments, high accuracy, and corrosion resistance.
Today, research engineers in aerospace, defense, or various industrial fields may need to monitor the performance of certain characteristics over time to improve processes and product technologies, and these characteristics may be precisely reflected in pressure changes during operation, production, or throughout the product's entire lifecycle. Using the FOP-M pressure sensor, comprehensive analysis of targets can be conducted in harsh environments, especially high-temperature environments.
The FOP-M fiber optic pressure sensor is based on the well-known Fabry-Perot interferometric principle. The sensor's unique design is based on the deflection measurement of a silicon diaphragm, which is completely different from traditional pressure measurement techniques. Changes in pressure cause changes in the length of the Fabry-Perot interferometric cavity, and even under extremely harsh conditions of temperature, EMI, humidity, and vibration, our fiber optic signal conditioner can continuously measure the cavity length with high precision.
This pressure sensor provides better and more reliable pressure measurement for existing applications in the industry, while also offering expansion capabilities for new applications with high operating temperatures.
The maximum temperature resistance of the FOP-M fiber optic pressure sensor is 150°C (302°F), making it an ideal product for any scientific field where high temperatures are present. In these extreme environments, we can provide fiber optic lead cables of various lengths and types.
