1. Fluorescence Sensor UVX-300P Product Description:
The UVX-300P can reliably confirm the use of phosphorescent materials and pigments in coatings, adhesives, security inks, and plastics. The UVX series utilizes our field-proven technology to effectively detect in various assembly, manufacturing, and packaging processes. Because phosphorescent materials continue to emit light after UV excitation is removed, it is necessary to control sampling and measurement to ensure this does not affect the sensor's detection process. High sensitivity and fast response make the UVX-300P suitable for high-speed automated processes. The metal alloy housing and glass lenses provide a robust and durable structure in industrial environments.
The UVX product features a 2-digit display that provides signal strength indication, making setup and integration quick and simple. This versatile sensor offers user-set parameters including light source intensity adjustment, detection threshold, and gain selection, making the UVX device useful in a wide range of applications.
The UVX includes a discrete PNP/NPN output and an analog output. The discrete output is automatically set for PNP or NPN operation. The analog output signal can be used to evaluate the relative amount of UV materials in phosphorescent inks, paints, and adhesives.
