TruStability™ HSC Series High Accuracy, Digital I²C Address: 0x28, SMT RR: Dual Axial Barbed Ports, Same Side, Differential Pressure, ±5 inH2O, 3.3 Vdc, No Special Options.
The TruStability™ High Accuracy Silicon Ceramic (SSC) series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor providing a ratiometric analog output or digital output for reading pressure over a specified full scale pressure span and temperature range.
The HSC series utilizes a dedicated application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) on the circuit board to perform comprehensive calibration and temperature compensation for sensor zero, sensitivity, temperature coefficient, and nonlinearity. Calibrated analog output values and digital output values are updated at rates of approximately 1 kHz and 2 kHz, respectively.
The HSC series is calibrated over a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C [32°F to 122°F]. This sensor features operation on a single 3.3 Vdc or 5.0 Vdc supply.These sensors measure absolute, gauge, or differential pressure. Absolute sensors use vacuum pressure as an internal reference, with output proportional to absolute pressure. Gauge sensors reference atmospheric pressure and provide output proportional to the difference from atmospheric pressure. Differential sensors measure pressure between two pressure ports.
TruStability™ pressure sensors are designed for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as air and other dry gases. Available options extend the performance of these sensors to pressure ranges above 40 mbar | 4 kPa | 20 inH2O.
