Product Introduction
The AM100 is an angle sensor IC based on Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology. It generates an analog output voltage that varies with the direction of the magnetic flux passing through the sensor surface. The chip contains a Wheatstone bridge internally, operating in saturation mode to produce orthogonal sine and cosine signals, enabling angle measurement over a 180° range with a wide operating voltage and temperature range. When combined with appropriate signal conditioning circuits, it can be applied in position sensing, speed and direction detection systems. This series is offered in an SOP8 package that meets RoHS requirements.
