I.IP67 Ultrasonic Sensor MB7780 Description:
The MB7780 sensor features a self-cleaning function. It can gently heat the sensor surface to atomize any moisture/condensation on the transducer surface. In various applications where condensation is a problem, many of these applications require self-cleaning, and the MB7780 is specifically designed for these applications. For example, in fuel tanks or water tanks, on clear or cold nights, this makes the sensor hardware colder than the surrounding environment. Condensation or frost will form on the exposed sensor hardware surface. Water and frost can hinder sensor operation; these targets (on the sensor surface) will be detected or cause reflections, reducing sensor sensitivity and making detection data inaccurate. The purpose of the self-cleaning operation is to prevent accumulation and eliminate moisture and frost on the sensor surface.
Additionally, the MB7780 has the same performance as theMB7480, but in harsh environments, the MB7780 performs better.
