US MEAS DT Piezoelectric Film Sensor - DT Series
DT series piezoelectric film sensor elements are rectangular piezoelectric film elements with silver ink screen-printed electrodes, available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses. DT series film elements generate more than 10 mV of voltage signal per microstrain, which is approximately 60 dB higher than the voltage output of foil metal strain gauges. Capacitance is directly proportional to the element area and inversely proportional to the element thickness.
Product Introduction
I. US MEAS Piezoelectric Film Sensor DT Series Description:
DT series piezoelectric film sensor elements are rectangular piezoelectric film elements with silver ink screen-printed electrodes, available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses. DT series film elements generate more than 10 mV of voltage signal per microstrain, which is approximately 60 dB higher than the voltage output of foil metal strain gauges. Capacitance is directly proportional to the element area and inversely proportional to the element thickness. DT series sensors are the simplest form of piezoelectric film sensors, mainly used as dynamic strain gauges and contact microphones for vibration and shock detection. If customers need to install leads themselves, MEAS can also provide leadless products. The sensor can be attached to the surface of the test object using double-sided tape or epoxy resin. Leads can be connected using crimping tools, crimping, punching, conductive epoxy, or low-temperature soldering. The dynamic sensing area of DT series piezoelectric film sensors has a thin polyurethane coating, while the lead area is not insulated with polyurethane coating.
