Mini Backlight - WH3803D

WH3803D isa three-channel dedicated driver for RGB LED circuits; the chip internally includes a smart digital port, data latch, and signal shaping and amplification drive circuit; it includes a high-precision internal oscillator and a 15V high-voltage programmable constant current output driver.

The chip uses a single-wire return-to-zero code communication method; meanwhile, to reduce power supply ripple, the 3 channels have a certain delay turn-on function, which can reduce circuit ripple during frame refresh. The automatic shaping and forwarding technology ensures that the cascade number of this chip is not limited by signal transmission, only by signal transmission speed requirements.

The IC's data latch generates signals with different duty cycles at the IO_R, IO_G, and IO_B ports based on the received 24-bit data; when a reset signal is input at the DIN port, all chips synchronously send the received data to each segment. After the reset signal is completed, new data will be received again; before receiving a new reset signal, the control signals at the IO_R, IO_G, and IO_B ports remain unchanged. The IC sends the correctly received PWM data to the IO_R, IO_G, and IO_B ports.
