MS1023The serializer andMS1224deserializer are a pair of10bitsparallel-to-serial/serial-to-parallel conversion chips used forLVDStransmitting andreceiving10MHzserial data at parallel word rates of80MHzover differential backplanes. After loading start and stop bits, it converts to a serial data rate of120Mbpsserial data at parallel word rates of960Mbpsload-encoded output.On power-up, the chip pair can be initialized via an internally generatedSYNCsample signal synchronization mode or the deserializer can synchronize to random data.By using synchronization mode, the deserializer can establish lock within a specific, shorter time parameter.When no data transmission is required, the device can be set and enter power-down mode. Additionally, a mode can set the output pin to highimpedance to avoidPLLloss of lock.MS1023andMS1224feature an operating ambient air temperature range of-40°C to85°C.
