Product Introduction

MS4998YesA bipolar microstepping motor driver chip with built-in8bit DACsupports full-step,1/2,1/4,1/8,1/16,1/64,1/128,1/256eightstepping modes; the chip hasrelativelylarge35V,±1.5Adrive capability.MS4998Forpulse-controlled stepping mode, each time aSTEPpin is given apulse, the motor advances one microstep; no phase sequence table is needed, norhigh-frequency control lines or complex program control interfaces.AdditionallyMS4998it also has a rectifier with a fixed current decay period, which can automatically select the current decay mode: slow decay and mixed decay. Mixeddecay mode is fast decay during the initial decay period and slow decay for the remaining time. This decay mode helps reduce motor noise, increase step accuracy, and reduce power consumption. The internal synchronous rectification circuit reduces power consumption, and built-in over-temperature protection,over-current protection, under-voltage protection, and short-circuit protection circuits are included, and the chip doesnot require a special power-on sequence.
