LED Light Source

• Color selection:

Light Immunity

• Pulse-modulated, providing extremely high immunity to ambient light pulse stretchers (optional)

• Provides output duration of at least 10 milliseconds.

Offset/EDR® Clutch Knob Adjustment

• Sets the contrast indicator to an initial level related to the mid-scale switch point of 5 functions as sensitivity adjustment.

• Enhanced Dynamic Range control circuit (EDR®) function to avoid the effects of glare.

Indicators

• Output indicator - Red LED illuminates when the output transistor is 'ON'.

• EDR indicator - Green intensity.

LED provides indication that the offset/EDR adjustment is fully lit within the dynamic operating range: operation near saturation.

Off: operation near maximum sensing range.

• Contrast indicator - Shows the level of returned contrast light (background vs. mark).

Epoxy encapsulated for mechanical strength.
