Product Introduction
The DT3100 is a floating current driver IC used to regulate the current flowing through an LED string. The DT3100 can be applied in series or parallel configurations with LED strings. It can operate as a voltage-controlled current source, current regulator, or current limiter. It is suitable for applications using periodic AC voltage sources. The PCB layout is also very flexible to meet various shape requirements. It is especially suitable for replacing incandescent lamps and linear fluorescent lamps. The DT3100 provides critical protection by shorting the CS and VS pins to protect the LED string and the DT3100 itself from burnout. The DT3100 is available in the SOT-89-3L package.
