Product Introduction
1. German AMT Water Quality Sensor Ozone Sensor (O3 Sensor) Description:
Ozone SensorThe O3 sensor is based on the electrochemical amperometric principle and can quickly analyze dissolved ozone (O3) in water on site. It is suitable for surface natural water, industrial waters, oceans, etc. O3 diffuses into the sensor through a gas-permeable membrane, first chemically reacts with the electrolyte solution to form an electrochemically active compound, and then moves to the working electrode through diffusion. At the working electrode, the active compound is oxidized, generating a current signal corresponding to the partial pressure of dissolved O3 for quantitative analysis. While measuring O3 concentration, the sample temperature also needs to be detected, and the sensor output signal is compensated electronically to correct the measured value with temperature changes (temperature compensation). The sensor can be used for on-site measurements at depths up to 100 meters, as well as for laboratory testing.
