Product Introduction
1. Combustible Gas/Carbon Monoxide Sensor (CO Sensor) MQ-9 Product Description
The MQ-9 gas sensor uses gas-sensitive material with low conductivity in clean air, tin dioxide (SnO2). It adopts a high-low temperature cycling detection method: low temperature (1.5V heating) detects carbon monoxide, and the sensor's conductivity increases with the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air; high temperature (5.0V heating) detects combustible gases such as methane and propane and cleans stray gases adsorbed at low temperature. A simple circuit can convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
The MQ-9 gas sensor has high sensitivity to carbon monoxide, methane, and liquefied gas. This sensor can detect a variety of gases containing carbon monoxide and combustible gases, making it a low-cost sensor suitable for multiple applications.
