Product introduction

1. Description of artificial gas detection sensor TGS822TF

The gas sensing element of Figaro gas sensors uses tin dioxide (SnO2) with low conductivity in clean air. When the target gas is present, the sensor's conductivity increases with the gas concentration in the air. A simple circuit can convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.TGS822TF sensorEquipped with an activated carbon filter, it eliminates the influence of impurity gases. It has low sensitivity to organic solvents or other volatile gases, but high sensitivity to hydrogen and carbon monoxide, making it very suitable for detecting artificial coal gas.

2. Features of artificial gas detection sensor TGS822TF:

4. Sensitivity characteristics of artificial gas detection sensor TGS822TF

The figure below shows typical sensitivity characteristics, all obtained under standard test conditions. (See back)
The vertical axis represents the sensor resistance ratio (Rs/Ro), where Rs and Ro are defined as follows:
Rs = resistance value in gas at different concentrations
Ro = resistance value in 1000ppm carbon monoxide
