Product Introduction
The MTS4 and MTS4B series are digital-analog mixed-signal temperature sensor chips with high temperature measurement accuracy of ±0.1°C, requiring no user calibration. The temperature sensing principle is based on the characteristic relationship between the PN junction temperature of CMOS semiconductors and bandgap voltage. After small-signal amplification, analog-to-digital conversion, and digital calibration compensation, the digital bus outputs, offering advantages such as high accuracy, good consistency, fast temperature measurement, low power consumption, flexible programmable configuration, and long lifespan.
The chip integrates a 16-bit ADC with a resolution of 0.004°C and has an ultra-wide operating range from -103°C to +153°C. The chip undergoes 100% testing and calibration before leaving the factory, fitting calibration coefficients based on temperature error characteristics, and the chip internally performs automatic compensation calculations. The chip supports digital I2C communication interface, temperature data memory access, and function configuration through digital protocol commands. The I2C interface is suitable for high-speed board-level applications, with a maximum interface speed of 2MHz.
The chip integrates non-volatile E2PROM storage cells for saving chip ID, high/low temperature alarm thresholds, temperature calibration correction values, and user-defined information such as sensor node numbers and location information.
