Product introduction
1. SemiconductorAlcohol sensorTGS822 description
The gas sensing element of Figaro gas sensors uses tin dioxide (SnO2) with low conductivity in clean air. When a target gas is present, the sensor's conductivity increases with the gas concentration in the air. A simple circuit can convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.TGS822 sensorhas high sensitivity to alcohol and organic solvents, and is widely used in alcohol detectors and other applications. The same characteristicsTGS823adopt a ceramic base and can be used in high-temperature atmospheres up to 200°C.
・High sensitivity to ethanol and other organic solvents
・Excellent long-term stability
・Long life, low cost
・Can be used with simple circuits
3. Semiconductor alcohol sensor TGS822 applications:
・Alcohol detectors
・Organic solvent detection in factories, dry cleaners, and semiconductor industries
4. Semiconductor alcohol sensor TGS822 sensitivity characteristics
The figure below shows typical sensitivity characteristics, all obtained under standard test conditions.
The vertical axis represents the sensor resistance ratio (Rs/Ro), where Rs and Ro are defined as follows:
Rs = resistance value in gas at different concentrations
Ro = resistance value in 300ppm ethanol
