Product Introduction
I. French LCJ Capteurs Wind Speed Sensor Ultrasonic Sensor CV7-V Description:
Traditional anemometers have rotating mechanical parts. These moving parts can easily damage the sensor.Ultrasonic SensorsDesigned to avoid any mechanical parts to ensure more reliable operation. Ultrasonic sensors offer long-term stability without the need for maintenance.
Sound is transmitted by moving objects at intersections. Electronic acoustic sensors (1) communicate with each other using ultrasonic signals (2) along orthogonal axes. The wind speed (3) causes differences in sound wave transmission time. The CV7 sensor communicates 4 different tests between them, and the headwind obtained from the tests is used for calculation. Combined measurements calculate wind speed and wind direction based on the base axis. Temperature measurement is used for calibration. The sensor design reduces the effect of tilt (4) (the effect of sensor tilt can be partially corrected
due to the spatial shape of the sensor).
The CV7 transmits 4 independent test data. Correctness checks are used for headwind vector calculation. This method gives a wind speed sensitivity of 0.15 m/s and excellent linearity up to 40 m/s.
