Product Introduction
Gas Mass Flow Meter SFM3000 Product Description
The SFM3000 is a digital flow meter especially suitable for high-volume applications. Its flow channel design enables extremely low pressure drop through the sensor assembly, making it ideal for medical ventilation and respiratory applications. The SFM3000 flow meter can measure flow bidirectionally up to 200 slm (standard liters per minute) for air and other non-aggressive gases, with ultra-high accuracy and extremely fast performance. The SFM3000 outputs a 14-bit digital signal with an update rate of 2 kHz. Its signal is internally linearized and temperature compensated. The SFM3000 operates at 5 V DC supply voltage and features a two-wire digital interface, making it easy to connect directly to microcontrollers.
The outstanding performance of the SFM3000 sensor is based on the patented CMOSens® technology, integrating the sensor assembly, signal processing, and digital calibration on a tiny microchip. Compared to other flow measurement technologies, using a thermal sensor element for gas measurement provides an ultra-wide dynamic range and improved long-term stability. With this proven CMOSens® technology, this flow meter is ideal for high-quality mass production and is an excellent choice for demanding, cost-sensitive OEM applications.
