1. Description of Alphamoisture Handheld Dew Point Meter SADPmini:

In the field of dew point micro-moisture and humidity measurement of gases, there are currently various dew point measuring instruments and many measurement principles both domestically and internationally. The SADPmini dew point meter (dew point hygrometer) applies the aluminum oxide capacitance-resistance method among them.

The SADPmini dew point meter (dew point hygrometer) utilizes a high-purity aluminum rod with a surface oxidized into an ultra-thin aluminum oxide film, plated with a porous gold mesh film. A capacitor is formed between the gold film and the aluminum rod. Due to the moisture-absorbing properties of the aluminum oxide film, the capacitance value changes with the moisture content of the sample gas. Measuring this capacitance value yields the humidity of the sample gas. The main advantage of this principle is that the measurement range can be lower, even reaching -110°C. Another outstanding advantage is its very fast response speed, achieving 90% response from dry to wet within one minute, making it suitable for on-site and rapid measurement applications.

Due to its many advantages, the SADPmini dew point meter (dew point hygrometer) has been rapidly promoted and applied in China since it was introduced by our company (Jiulong Instruments) from Alpha Instruments (UK) in 2002. At the same time, this dew point meter has been widely praised and commended by users.

Digital output: The instrument provides RS485 or USB interface for communication with a computer to achieve real-time monitoring or data download functions.
