Product Introduction

The CT8225 touch detection IC is a touch chip designed based on capacitive sensing principles. This chip has a built-in voltage regulator circuit for touch sensors, providing stable touch effects that can be applied in various applications. The human touch panel can be connected through non-conductive insulating materials. The main application is to replace mechanical switches or buttons. This chip can independently support 6 touch keys.

I. Capacitive Touch Chip -Features of CT8225:

Operating Voltage: 2.5V~5.5V (with internal voltage regulator enabled)
Built-in voltage regulator function
Standby Current
-3V voltage, typical 4.5uA in sleep mode with low-speed sampling rate of 8Hz
Provides 6 direct output independent ports
6 direct output ports with selectable output types (CMOS/OD/OC with high/low level active)
Option to select effective key output time of approximately 80 seconds
Sensitivity adjustable via external capacitor (1~50pF)
Requires 0.5 second stabilization time after power-on
-Do not touch the key panel during this period; all touch functions are disabled
Auto-calibration
-When all keys are not touched for a period of time, the chip system recalibration time is approximately 4.0 seconds

II. Capacitive Touch Chip -Applications of CT8225:

TWS Bluetooth earphones

Smart speakers

AI intelligence

Educational toys

Smart home
