Korea GreenChip Capacitive Touch IC - GT316L

Capacitive Touch ICs- GT316L is one of the GreenTouch3^TMcapacitive touch sensor series products. Specifically, the GT316L can perform capacitive sensing with 16 channels running on the GreenTouch3^TMengine. Thanks to this epoch-making GreenTouch3^TMengine, applications will be more powerful and free from problems of EMC, EMI, H/W changes, voltage interference, temperature drift, humidity drift, etc. In particular, it does not cause any problems in CS and EFT noise environments that occur in any touch application.

GT316L provides 16 touch sensing inputs, which can also be used as dimming LED driver output pins. This is a very economical solution when LED feedback is required, as there is no additional material cost for LED control. Almost all options for controlling touch operations and GT316L dimming LED drivers can be executed through internal control registers. These internal control registers are readable and writable via the I2C interface. Touch output results can also be read using the I2C interface, which can be useful when MCU IO or connector resources are insufficient.

Applications.GT316LIt can be applied over a wide supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. The CTRL pin of the GT316L provides a switchable chip ID that allows two chips to operate in parallel on the same I2C bus. The output pins of the GT316L provide 25mA sink output.
