Level and flow sensors
Celduc®relais offers standard series using reed switches or special level and flow sensors. Our sensors feature plastic, brass, or stainless steel housings and can be used in most chemical media and operating temperatures. Some sensors have reverse functionality achieved through the backward movement of the float or by using the upper drop of the sensor.
Suitable liquids:
1. Compatible with acids: acetic acid, citric acid, milk, dilute nitric acid, phosphoric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, soda water, alcohol, ethanol, methanol, propanol, ethylene glycol, mineral oil, water.
Not compatible with the following solvents: chloroform, methylene chloride, trichloroethylene, toluene, hard acidic liquids
2. Compatible with fuels: engine oil, kerosene, lubricating oil, mineral oil, vegetable oil.
Not compatible with almost all acidic liquids, methylene chloride.
Acceptable water resistance
3. Compatible with almost all liquids except hard acidic liquids.
Reed magnet sensors
Working principle
A fixed float with one or more magnets that can move in water, activation depends on the magnetic field area
An insulated sealed reed contact is fixed in the float
Advantages
One moving part
Reed contacts are activated only by magnetic field, no contact so no wear
Reed contacts are completely isolated from the liquid, making them fully waterproof
