Product Introduction
1. MQ-5 Combustible Gas Sensor Product Description
MQ-5Gas SensorThe gas sensing material used is tin dioxide (SnO2) with low conductivity in clean air. When combustible gas is present in the environment, the sensor's conductivity increases with the concentration of the combustible gas. A simple circuit can convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.
The MQ-5 gas sensor has high sensitivity to butane, propane, and methane, and can effectively detect both methane and propane. This sensor can detect a variety of combustible gases, especially natural gas, making it a low-cost sensor suitable for multiple applications.
2. MQ-5 Combustible Gas Sensor Features
* Good sensitivity to combustible gases in a wide concentration range
* High sensitivity to butane, propane, and methane
