Product Introduction
MC11S and MC11T are highly integrated dual-channel capacitive sensing chips. The chip connects directly to differential capacitive plates near the object under test, and measures tiny capacitance changes through resonant excitation and calculation. The excitation frequency is configurable from 0.1 to 20MHz, and the frequency measurement output is a 16-bit digital signal, corresponding to a maximum capacitance resolution of 1fF. The chip features a fully digital design, supporting I2C communication rates up to 1MHz for function configuration and data read/write. Additionally, the chip integrates temperature sensing circuitry for temperature compensation and other temperature sensing applications.
Capacitive sensing, combined with detection electrodes, enables dielectric detection of different substances. It is a low-power, low-cost, and high-resolution non-contact detection technology. Compared to traditional RC oscillator-based touch capacitance structures, MC11S and MC11T offer stable operation and simple circuitry, requiring only one reference capacitor and configurable operating frequency, suitable for various application scenarios. The chip outputs frequency calculation results digitally through an internal digital signal processing unit, with multiple flexible operating modes.
Compared to similar domestic and international products, MC11S and MC11T feature low-cost peripheral circuits, wider capacitance excitation frequency, wider operating voltage range, and more flexible reference frequency and operating mode configurations. The chip also includes temperature sensing signals for temperature compensation, and the independent dual-channel measurement circuits can compensate each other or be configured with automatic alarm logic. The small size and low cost make the chip widely applicable in liquid level measurement, touch sensing, water immersion detection, and other scenarios.
